Walther is a world leader for robotic tool changers, with one of the main applications being the production line. Other automotive coupling applications include multi-couplings for engine testing, multi-couplings for transmission testing, and hand operated couplings for coolant filling and gasoline connections. An alternative fuel coupling for refueling using gaseous hydrogen is also a first of it's kind.
Walther couplings are also used for on-vehicle applications such as hydraulics for convertible opening mechanisms, turbo air connections etc.
